How Telecom Site Acquisition Began At The Roots Of Telecommunication
By Dorothy Miller
The need for communication is not only limited to human beings but the entire animal kingdom. Being able to make gestures or noise that is understandable is the very core of the ability known as communication. Many different animals have unique ways of telling another one of their species that something is wrong.
Before the boom of various technological advances that would help out with how humans contact each other, things were much simpler. Before telecommunications and telecom site acquisition was a modern thing, primitive man who did not have the capacity for language would often use body language to communicate with one another, like animals.
In primitive history, man could not speak language since organized linguistics would be about a hundred years away from being developed. So to compensate for this, cavemen would rely on body language to relay want is the preferred outcome that they want to have. Pictures were also used because written language had not been developed as well.
Animals had also been used for telecom purposes as an avian were seen as valuable if trained to carry messages on their foots or legs. The reason for the value they had was very simple. Birds like pigeons and hawks was faster then normals messengers that traveled on foot and not only that, being small gave them an advantage as enemy forces could not shoot them down due to the speed and how common seeing birds were during that time.
The middle ages saw multiple beacons being lit up on hilltops. The was done was a means of sending visual messages as fast as possible to the next person that is in line to see the beacon being lit up and so on. The main purpose of this was to alert commanders or castles that an opposing force has been sighted and to prepare for battle. Draw back is that it can be seen rather quickly thus alerting invading forces.
The first step of heading into the modernization of telecommunication was revealed on 1816. The invention was called a telegraph and it used electricity and currents to send out messages that could be received on the other side. Before it was finally released though, many prototypes had attempted to capitalize on the available technology but none worked properly and most broken down. The telegraph that came in 1816 was the first official working one.
The innovation of the telephone came afterward. Its was made in 1870 but still was not commercially set up for use until 1878 and 1879. This became a turning point as the technology grew at a fast pace and by the mid 1880s many telephone line were already setup in every major city of America as before it was only set up in cities like New Haven.
After several years, namely starting in 1894, many inventors began to develop in adapting radio waves in to telecommunication and began to build a wireless telegraphy technology that was the first of it kind. Wireless towers were the test bed of this as radios were soon introduced and became a global phenomena as it was portable and could be taken anywhere.
These advancements have helped humankind advance in to unknown spaces. The various things lead to different inventions after another. Thanks to that, life and communicating with other is much easier then ever.
