Hackers target Microsoft Windows XP support system
Windows XP is a product with a large user base. Despite being an old operating system there are millions of users around the world whose primary operating system to Windows XP. In recent days have seen an unprecedented rise in attacks is concerned: the target of these attacks is precisely the Microsoft operating system.
Microsoft has reported that the attacks have been more than 10,000 PCs, but now the figure may be much higher since not found a solution to this problem.
A Google engineer reported finding a vulnerability in Windows XP to be allowed total control of a PC, using the capacities of this to receive help from another computer remotely.
Researchers from security firms like Trend Micro, say it is a serious problem for many developers of malware and viruses are being targeted on users of Windows XP. It is expected that in next few hours there is a more specific answer from Microsoft.
This breach of security does not affect Windows Vista or Windows 7.

10% of computers worldwide already have Windows 7
Microsoft is taking huge advantage in the market for operating systems. Although alternatives such as Linux or Mac OS X users have gained more recent times, Windows is still king, by far. Surprising news comes from Microsoft, it is reported to have sold over 100 million licenses of Windows 7 around the world.
That is an impressive figure as it represents around 10% of all computers on the planet with Windows 7 as the primary operating system. And in the end things have gone well for Microsoft Windows Vista who saw a flop but which were good things served to make way for the successor to Windows XP, at least in popularity.
After six months of launching Windows 7 (launched on October 22, 2009), Microsoft has made a profit close to 14 billion dollars ($ 14.000 million) recorded until March 31, 2010 which is no doubt a successful product after several slips that left many angry users.
Microsoft still can do many things well, and has been demonstrated. Regardless of the fans and haters of Windows, the shareholders of the company based in the state of Washington must be more than happy.

Internet Explorer 9 could have a minimalist interface
Despite being the most hated browser, Internet Explorer continues to evolve, and this time is for good. After last month launched an alpha version of this product (to show it to developers), it appears that the browser development team is still very active, and this time the most radical changes have been made in the GUI / interface (UI).
Through a Chinese forum, these images were obtained of the possible interface of Internet Explorer 9. While not from a 100% reliable source (you have to doubt the veracity of these images), the truth is that it is a good concept to be taken into account, as it would be taking a big step for what as minimalist and usable, which benefits us.
Although this model lacks the distinctive features of Windows (such as the Aero interface), the design is not so far from reality as it follows more or less along the lines of Windows Phone 7, one of the products that Microsoft have priority . Images are real or not, we face the possibility of finding an Internet Explorer battle they can get the market to favorites (Firefox, Chrome), not only in appearance but also in performance.
Remember that it is too premature IE9 current version, so all the features and changes we see may not be part of the final product, but as a concept illustration, I consider a good start.

Microsoft enters the world of microblogging
Here in onlinetechnical we have mentioned several tools developed in the concept of microblogging. Since the birth of Twitter (when it was then considered a service microblogs) to Yammer, a Twitter-like tool, only at corporate level and certain collaboration features. Microsoft is about to enter this field with a new product, which is now at an early stage.
OfficeTalk is the name of the product that the Redmond company is developing. In short it is a platform based on micrblogging benefits for employees of an organization can speak freely. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, notes, etc.. All that content can be published in OfficeTalk.
By bringing the Office into the name brand, are likely to see implementations of the suite of Microsoft. Perhaps the integration is with the web version, which would be great because no matter the operating system users. Being able to share documents easily would be a very useful feature that would add great value to the experience of employees.
For now the applications are very limited OfficeTalk. Need to enter a questionnaire, and based on the responses the staff of Microsoft decides whether to accept the request.
