Twitter scan all the links sent in for malicious content
Twitter has been the target of malicious user on many occasions and especially since he has started to become more popular a few months to these dates. Until now, any user could send a message containing a malicious link without detection by Twitter and we protect your content, but from now on Twitter will begin to scan all the links sent by private message and block content that may have dangerous for your computer.
This is undoubtedly a very good news for those who click on links in search of interesting information in which we send our contacts.
Del Harvie, director of Twitter and safety equipment microblogging service, has announced that all the links sent by direct message will be reviewed and processed by Twitter.
This service is just going to make a list of all URLs that are published as direct messages on Twitter before they hit their target and if it is classified as dangerous URL will be blocked and the message will not reach the user.
Yet there is little information about how it will process these messages to detect whether they are malicious, only report that most user would not we give this service account as it will be as "quiet" and less intrusive in our Daily use of Twitter.
