StyleTap brings Palm OS to iPhone with jailbreak
If you are someone who in his day used a Palm OS device com and eventually switched to Windows Mobile or Symbian and missed some of the applications that the ancient operating system to the Palm brand had surely come to use StyleTap.
StyleTap PalmOS emulator is a Windows Mobile, Symbian and now, for iPhone OS. The company developing it promised "soon" be available for Apple's mobile terminal, this was about 2 years ago. Anyway, the important thing is that I kept their promise.
However, not all good news. StyleTap probably passed through the tortuous and ridiculous process of reviewing the App Store and was denied permission. That's why, starting today, is ready for downloading to terminals jailbreak applied. This means that only can be downloaded through Cydia.
But this does not end here. If you thought that, by the fact that it is on Cydia for free, you're wrong. The price of the application is nothing more and nothing less than $ 49.99 dollars. Of course, if you're prepared to spend that much money, you can run Palm OS applications to the latest version of the operating system (5.2 Garnet).
It also supports ARM native applications, recording and playback, you can create virtual expansion cards and enjoy the TCP / IP. Surely this is good news for those who miss an application that was never updated or carried to other platforms, but that in his time was very useful.
So if you want to download StyleTap for the iPhone, you have to do a search on Cydia and disburse what developers call this "jewel". Too bad that did not reach the App Store, I certainly have had much success regardless of the high cost of implementation.
